Shut the Door and Begin to Pour Jo Ellen Stevens December 30, 2016 Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJ) “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing,Now it shall spring forth;Shall you not know it?I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” And the Lord said “I am getting ready to close the doors of the past seasons behind you as you take the step of faith toward your destiny in this coming year. It is time to shake off the dust of some past things that I have been speaking to you to leave behind and when you do I will not only slam the door behind you, I will lock it from the inside so that you will not even desire to go back! It is time to pour what you have been given into those that I have given you. For if you will see what I see in front of you and gather them then I will supply the oil for as many as you will believe me for. And you will be anointed to pour into them as long as you will believe that I am able to do all that I said that I would! Believe me for more!! Believe me for more souls and for more abundance, and for bigger houses to do your ministry in! Believe me for the greater things in this season and if you will believe me I will open new doors and as you see the new vessels to pour into I will anoint you to pour it out upon all of those that I am calling out of darkness for such a time as this!!” 2 Kings 4:1-4 “One day the widow of a member of the group of prophets came to Elisha and cried out, 'My husband who served you is dead, and you know how he feared the LORD. But now a creditor has come, threatening to take my two sons as slaves.' 'What can I do to help you?' Elisha asked. 'Tell me, what do you have in the house?' 'Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,' she replied. And Elisha said, 'Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors. Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.'" A few weeks ago at our “Times Of Refreshing” meeting Wade Urban was teaching on these scriptures. He asked the question. “What does shutting the door indicate to you? The answer was obviously closing the door on our past but then Elisha asked her what she had in her house and she said, “Nothing but a flask of oil”. So after he told her to shut the door behind her He told her to gather all the jars that she could from her neighbors and she began to pour that oil into them and it didn’t stop until everyone was full. As Wade was talking about this I began to think about my younger days in the Lord back at the old “First Assembly Of God” and how I had taught in those days and led worship and how glorious it seemed at the time to me and when I got sidetracked by a situation in my life and I seemed to go into a type of wilderness experience. At the time it seemed like I had lost it all and would never recover what I had back there at the old church and in my ministry. I pined away for the “good old days” thinking they were better than the little that I was doing in my new life that I had come into through all of the circumstances. What I didn’t realize was that while pining away after the “good old days”, I was the only one that was putting a limit on what God could do through me. I was counting the gift that I had as nothing because it didn’t look like what I had back there! I didn’t see that all along the way, in the small stuff I was doing, God was preparing me for a bigger and greater platform in Him. I had not yet “shut the door behind me” so I could not go forward! One day I was telling God that if I could just go back there and do what he had called me to do that I would be happy. He said to me, “I want you to go forward Jo Ellen. I want you to forget about the good, the bad and the ugly because I have something greater up ahead and as long as you are pining away after the “good old days”, you will limit what I want to do through you in the future!” He then said, “Behold, I will do a new thing. Shall it not spring forth?” You see, as Wade explained that until the woman began to see what she had in her house and poured it into the vessels, she was dying and her sons would have probably died also. However, she went and borrowed the jars and her oil did not stop until they were all full and she had enough to sell and save herself and her sons!! Until we can shut the door on the past, no matter how great it was in our “glory days” and embrace what God has for us ahead and begin to see what great anointing he has put in us and not be limited by our past thinking, we will not be able to fulfill the great purpose that he has for us now and in the future. Stop thinking, “I have used everything God has given me in my past season and now I am just going to sit down and die!” Until we begin to pour our little bit of oil into as many jars or vessels that are available to us, we never will know the great plans that God has for our future in Him!! You see, her end was greater than the beginning and she and her sons were saved! Many of you have been holding back. You have been told that you blew it because you went through a dark time in your life. Many have stopped pouring your oil into other vessels because you counted what little you have as nothing compared to what you had back then but God is saying, “Get up! Shut the door behind you and begin to just pour what you have into all of the vessels that are in front of you and all the vessels in your neighborhood and then in your community and your city!!” Your oil will not run out until your vision does. We are the only ones limiting ourselves! God has a bigger plan and a greater purpose and His oil never runs out! Religion may have disqualified you and people may have snubbed you and you may have disqualified yourself but God still has a great plan for you if you will shut the door to your past and just begin pouring out! Walking in the Shoes of Jesus: A Revival of Healing and Creative Miracles Ella Onakoya December 29, 2016 The Lord spoke to me recently about His desire for every Believer to walk in the same shoes of supernatural miracles He walked in while He was on the earth. I heard Him say, "Walk in My shoes, for My shoes are made for every Believer to walk in. Do not say My shoes are too big for you or are meant only for an elect few." My spirit was filled with excitement as I heard this reassuring word from the Lord about the path of miracles He has laid down for us to walk in. As we step into His shoes and follow His example of living a lifestyle of the Kingdom in love, power and humility, we will see miracle after miracle. He longs for us to experience an overflow of healing and creative miracles on the earth today. Every Day Believers Seeing Every Day Miracles I see a rising up of everyday Believers daring to believe they could walk as Jesus did, as they follow the path He laid for us to walk in His love and power. Jesus Himself was our example as He raised the dead, healed the sick, walked on water, multiplied the bread and the fishes as He fed the multitudes. He declared, in John 14:12 that, whoever believes in Him will do the works that He did and even greater things than these. Before Jesus died, He commissioned His disciples into a lifestyle of releasing the Kingdom and walking in supernatural miracles. After Jesus rose from the dead in Mark 16:17-18, He commissioned all Believers into a lifestyle of walking in supernatural miracles as He declared, "This sign shall follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues, they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." We have received delegated authority as we represent Him as ambassadors of the Kingdom today. The Lord wants to walk with us and through us to release the miracles He did 2000 years ago. He spoke to me about various ways He will partner with us today as we release His Kingdom. 1. Encountering Jesus as We Walk in Supernatural Miracles The Lord wants to release outpourings of His power on Believers who choose to honor Him in living a lifestyle of releasing the Kingdom. The Lord will work hand-in-hand with those Believers as they take steps of faith to release the Kingdom on earth as is in Heaven. One of the most humbling miracles I had experienced was the appearance of Jesus to a man with sight problems as He received His healing. Last year, while I was ministering at a revival conference in Norway, I was asked to pray for a Jewish man with sight problems. He was unable to see clearly in one of his eyes and saw people as shadows. As I was about to pray for him, Jesus reminded me of the miracle He performed on a blind man who He prayed for twice. In Mark 8:22-25, Jesus prayed for the blind man in Bethesda. After He first prayed for him, the man reported that he could see men like trees and not clearly. Jesus prayed for him a second time and then he saw clearly. As Jesus spoke to me, I felt such excitement that I could step into the shoes of Jesus and see a resurgence of this miracle. I put my hand on the effected eye of the man and prayed quietly asking the Lord to come and put His hand on my hand and bring forth a release of the similar miracle He performed years ago so the man could receive his healing and see clearly instead of seeing shadows! After I prayed, I asked the man if he could see. With joy and great amazement he said he could see 100 times better than he did before and that he no longer needed surgery which he had been booked for. He then declared to everyone that the moment I removed my hand from his eye, he saw Jesus standing in front of him. He kept saying that he, a Jewish man, saw Jesus! He did not hear my quiet prayer when I asked Jesus to come and work with me to lay His hand on my hand and repeat the miracle of 2000 years ago when He healed the blind man. The amazing love of Jesus for the man touched my heart. I believe that was a two fold miracle. Jesus came and touched him because He wanted to heal his physical eye, but He also opened his eye to see Him so He could be revealed to him as his Savior. I also believe Jesus was very much excited to partner with me as He watched me step into His shoes to see what He did 2000 years ago replicated that night. He is so eager to partner with you too as you step in obedience to walk in the lifestyle of miracles He has commissioned you into. 2. He Will Release Power for Creative Miracles to Us as We Walk in His Shoes In John Chapter 1:1-3, Jesus was declared to be the Word though which everything was created. In Genesis chapter 1, creation came into existence through the creative power of God and His spoken word. Scripture, in Colossians 1:16 declares that everything was created by Him and for Him. It is interesting to know that the first miracle Jesus performed was a creative one of turning water into wine. Jesus, by His very nature as the Son of God, is One who creates. God called forth creation into existence by calling forth things that are not as though they were. This creative power exists in Believers to call forth God's will and purpose for creative miracles to take place. Jesus declared that He came to bring us life and life more abundantly (see John 10:10). One of the ways Jesus brought life to folks in His earthly ministry was to release healing. Today there are those who, through sickness or accidents, have missing limbs or organs that are malfunctioned. I believe God has a vast reservoir of bodily organs in the heavenly realms that we can call forth to replace diseased or missing organs and limbs for those who need healing. The ability to call forth body parts that are needed in a person to experience healing is what I believe to be creative miracles. The ingredients we need for creative miracles are faith and a heart of compassion to see the sick restored to health. One of the creative miracles I experienced several years ago, was at a conference in the UK when the Lord gave me a word of knowledge for those with painful foot and ankle conditions. Several people responded and as I started praying for one of the women, she fell under the anointing and told me she had a painful foot condition which caused her difficulty in walking because she was born without any arches. I knew she needed a creative miracle, so I called forth new arches to come from God's heavenly reservoir. As I prayed she told me to look at her feet. She had taken off her shoes and before both our eyes her arches began to form. We were amazed and thankful to God and she got up and was able to walk without any pain! If you are reading this and have any infirmity where you need a new body organ: we call it forth in the name of Jesus in your body, so you can experience the fullness of divine health that Jesus purchased for you on the Cross! Step into His shoes right now as the Spirit of God activates you in your calling as a miracle worker this hour. All you need is simple faith and a readiness to step into this pool of miracles with our Lord. This pool of glory increases the more we step in obedience to pray for the sick as our Lord commands. 3. Miracles Will Break Forth in Unplanned Situations This is an encouraging reminder from the Lord for the Church. Do not forget who you are in Him in any situation. I hear this encouraging word from the Lord, "Do not take off your shoes for the the shoes Jesus fitted you with are to be worn in all situations." How apt is this Scripture for the hour, Ephesians 6:15 says we are to have our feet fitted with the readiness which comes from the Gospel of peace. I believe the Lord is saying we need to be ready in all situations as Heaven will break in unexpected places. Just before Christmas last year, I was home in London from an extended ministry trip enjoying a time of rest. While at home on one of those afternoons my phone rang. It was a neighbor who sounded extremely distressed and was panting in pain as she spoke to me on the phone telling me how she just had an accident at home with boiled water poured on her. She told me to come over and get her an ointment from the pharmacist to relieve her pain. I went over to her place and saw how the hot water had scalded her leg with her skin peeled off and the raw flesh underneath revealed. As I described this injury to the pharmacist, when I went over to buy her the ointment, he told me they had nothing that could take care of that kind of injury and she needed to be seen at the hospital. I went back to recount this to my friend who was still in significant pain. I called the hospital emergency to come and tend to her. As soon as I came off the phone, I heard the Lord speak to me asking why I hadn't prayed for her? Though I had seen Him work many miracles in meetings and on the streets (in a moment of honesty) I realized that I seemed to have forgotten that I had my feet fitted with the readiness of the Gospel of peace. I realized I was to walk in these shoes in all seasons, ready to release His miracles and the Gospel to those who needed it. I was thankful for the Lord's timely reminder. Though I was at rest that day, I needed to walk in the shoes of Jesus who declared in John 5:17 (in response to those who criticized Him for healing on the Sabbath – a day of rest), that He worked because His Father was always at work. I prayed for my neighbor to be healed in Jesus name and then went home. About 10 minutes later, she called me and said the moment I prayed for her the terrible pain that ravaged her totally left her. A few minutes later, I heard my doorbell ring. She was at my door with a huge smile wearing her coat to go out. She had no more pain and told me that the hospital ambulance came to take her to the hospital and she told them she didn't need them as she was fine! Friends, the Lord wants to use you to bring forth healing revival in your day-to-day walk with Him on this earth! Hear the Lord cheering for you to pick up the mantle and walk in His shoes of miracles that He's laid out for you, and step into all He has prepared you for. Your destiny is to experience the miraculous just as Jesus did! Ella Onakoya Harvest of the Nations HarvestoftheNations.com Ella Onakoya is the founder of Harvest of the Nations. When I, Papa, say that perfect love casts out all fear, I mean it. Fear will flee where love is present. Let Me flood your being with My love. When others come around you, they will experience peace as you remain in My love. Continue to practice. Where you once were filled with fear because you received it, now you will be filled with love because you receive it. Make the exchange and others around you will experience it. When people squeeze you do they get the juice of My love and grace? Whatever you fill yourself with is what will come out. Whatever you meditate on is what will come out. You are a carrier of light and love. Be careful who you hang around with and what you receive from them. May they be greater in love so that they lift you up and challenge you, instead of lesser in love, taking from you and depleting you. Not that you should not be around people in general, but I am referring to those who you choose to be in closer relationship with. You can only help those who want it, just as I can only help those who want it. Do not feel obligated just because someone is in need. Did My Son desperately try to reach everyone in the short period of his time on earth or was He lead by My Spirit to whom He would minister to and be in relationships with. Some people are in your lives just for a season; others for a lifetime. Determine by My Spirit when those seasons are up and when it is time to let go. Do not hang on to them out of fear or obligation. If I am telling you to let go, then it is for a very important reason for them and for you. Yes, love always, but love with wisdom, not just by emotion. Loving from a place of wisdom in Me is a far higher place to live in love than man’s wisdom through reason, logic, and emotion. Do not be mislead, you must learn to decipher between the two. As you stay near to Me, I will counsel you in this, and you shall learn to be sensitive and alert to My gentle warnings and nudges of direction. Love must be defined by Me and not by your emotions or what you "think" it is. Be lead by My Spirit and you will love from such a great place! You will love from the place of Wisdom. Fear will always be present in the love drawn by obligation, convenience, and emotion. If there are any forms of strings attached, then it is not coming from Wisdom's love. It is just another form of earthly love with hidden agendas. Perfect love (pure, mature, and complete) will cast out all fear. Find your wisdom in Me. Love from a place hidden in Me. No longer love out of fear and obligation but love out of experiencing and living in Me, receiving from Me and then giving it. - Father God Amy Meyer Thriving Culture and Meyer Ministries MeyerMinistries.com John & Amy Meyer are the Overseers of Thriving Culture and Meyer Ministries. Wheels Within Wheels Kathi Pelton December 27, 2016 I was praying one morning regarding an issue, and I received clear revelation that I was able to share with specific people. As the day went on I was not able get it off my mind, and then I heard the Spirit say, "This vision is for that specific issue but it is also a vision for many more. It is both/and." The vision consisted of many clock wheels turning and moving, but they were not connected, so they moved independently of each other. Then I saw all the wheels move together and as they connected they began to move in a new synchronization. There was greater ease, alignment, revelation and wisdom. At that point I saw the clock and it was aligned with God's timing and His will for individuals, ministries, businesses and nations. These clock wheels aligned like the "wheels within wheels" we read about in Ezekiel 1:16, causing a divine synchronization between Heaven and God's people on Earth. Divine Connections There may be many areas of your life that feel disconnected or in need of divine movement in order to be properly aligned. I see that these areas will quickly come together (and even now are beginning to do so). As they do, ease in movement will occur. This will cause the different aspects of your life to align with God's plans of blessings over you. It will align you with Heaven's movements. I also saw this occur over corporate groups: ministries working together, people groups connecting with each other, businesses interfacing and God's remnant connecting from different nations. The connection of these clock wheels will be the answer to many needs that have delayed of halted forward movement. Gaps will be filled and needs will be met as different giftings, callings and resources are brought together. A Time of Reset I heard the words, "Reset time" and saw someone resetting a watch that had fallen behind to the proper time. The interesting thing is, just yesterday I went through our house and noticed that a number of our clocks were hours behind the actual time. I replaced batteries and reset the time. We are in the midst of a divine reset that will catch us up from the attacks that have caused delays and caused us to lag behind. I decided to go to "Google Images" to find a photo of a watch being reset, but when I pressed "Search," instead of sending me to the Image page, a site popped up that told how to reset a digital watch, and the photo display for the article showed a watch with the time 3:33 (see picture below). Three represents the unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and triple threes invites us into that unity that they share (John 17:20-23). It also had the date 11/20 and I felt as though that was the date (November 20, 2016) that this reset began. I also was led to go to Hebrews 11:20: “By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future." The Father is blessing brothers (His sons and daughters) in regard to their futures! He is resetting us and aligning us for the purpose of His future and hope that He has promised. Celebrating Together Finally, I felt that it is significant that the first day of Hanukkah and Christmas Eve, the Jewish and Christian family celebrations, fall on the same day this year. When the Jewish people begin their first night of gifts to their children, Christians will begin giving to their children as well. This is similar to the picture of Isaac blessing both his sons. My sense is that these wheels (Jewish and Christian) will be connected and prophecies for their futures will begin to be fulfilled. This is an exciting and supernatural time of wheels within wheels moving together. Thank you for SHARING our messages with women who need to hear the WORD. Shame Is Not Our Identity! Nichole Marbach December 26, 2016 This week, after having a wonderful day of going to see some beautiful Christmas lights at a local Arboretum, I made my way into their beautiful gift shop. I saw a beautiful ornament that had a light inside and attempted to pick it up to look at it, but instead, the ornament crashed to the floor and shattered. It made a loud noise and unfortunately the entire crowded store heard it and everyone stopped what they were doing so that they could look at me. I even heard laughs making fun of me and other noises of gratitude signifying they were happy it was not them who had made the mistake. The woman working in the store came over to me. At this point I could feel in my entire body the shame and humiliation and guilt over what I had accidentally done. I offered to pay for the ornament but the lady reassured me that it was not necessary. As she was picking up the broken pieces of glass, I decided to start walking and act like nothing was wrong and continued to look around the store. I found myself hiding in a corner feeling embarrassed, filled with shame, but the Lord was gently reminding me in that moment that I was not a failure even though I made a mistake. He gently and lovingly continued to remind me of some truths the rest of that evening that I want to share with you that will encourage you with any failures or mistakes that you have made in your life. “My beloved, shame and humiliation are not your real identity. When you feel these, I can see the torment that you are experiencing and that is because that is not your real identity. I was broken so that you could be free. My body was broken so that you could experience healing and wholeness in every area of your life. My blood took away all shame, condemnation, guilt and humiliation. I paid for any mistakes you will ever make in your life. There is no barrier between us. I was broken so that I could rescue you from sin, death, sickness, guilt, shame, and more. Receive this free gift that is not based on anything you do or don’t do, rather it is based on what I have done for you. “My beloved, fear not! You are holy, blameless, pure, righteous, and clean in My sight based on the blood of My Son. This is a gift! Gifts are given in love, not earned. You don’t have to earn My love or acceptance in any way. You are already accepted and loved and always will be, even when you fail. I will never view you any other way, even in your worst failure! You are completely forgiven, and all your sins are gone, and I do not remember them any longer. They are gone! They are done away with, never to return again! I want you to live a life of freedom and peace, knowing that you are loved no matter what! This truth will help you trust Me. This truth will take down any walls you have with Me. This truth will help you to receive My love in a deep, deep way. The powerful revelation that I do not condemn you when you fail will help lead you to freedom in the areas of your life where you still struggle to experience the victory I came to give you. Condemnation only leads to more failure, whereas love leads to victory! And you ARE loved no matter what!” “They’ll get to know me by being kindly forgiven, with the slate of their sins FOREVER WIPED CLEAN. By coming up with a new plan, a new covenant between God and his people, God put the old plan on the shelf. And there it stays, gathering dust.” Hebrews 8:12-13 (MSG) Declaration of encouragement: My Heavenly Father views me with absolutely no sin based on the gift of righteousness given to me by Jesus! I am holy and blameless and accepted by Him. He loves me so much! I am free to live a life of no condemnation! The holiday season can be a mixture of joy, peace, stress, sadness and loneliness. I feel many of these emotions every year. The reason we can experience joy, peace and gratitude during this time of year and everyday is because Jesus came down to this earth for us. So no matter how you celebrate this season, try to keep this in mind. HE is our Peace and Joy!! One verse that I love is John 14:27 AMP “Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let my perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] Just as you received Jesus in your heart, receive His peace and joy and grace into your heart! Do this everyday, it will make a huge difference in your day! You will notice the difference, I know I do. I do this each morning before I get up and many times during the day, if I need it! Merry, Merry Christmas!!! The Loneliness of the Holidays Victoria Boyson December 25, 2016 All across the world, Christmas is celebrated and that usually means the coming together of friends and family. However, sometimes, the "coming together," can actually create feelings of loneliness for people. Feeling a burden to see family at Christmas, we often place ourselves in positions for the enemy to overwhelm us with his agenda for our lives. All the assignments of the enemy targeting your life can find refuge in the thoughts of others and how they value you. Have you ever felt unloved, unappreciated or misunderstood by those who should love you? It's as if they do not even see, nor do they desire to see, the real you - as if they're fighting hard to retain their unflattering views of you. When you are around these people, you can start to see yourself as they do. Even though we are around crowds of people, we can still feel lonely. This happens because, even though you are around people who know you, they do not want to see you as you are or connect with you in a way that is healthy for your soul. After years of trying to please people so they would accept and appreciate me, I had an epiphany. I realized they would never accept me in this life. It sounds harsh, but it was from the Holy Spirit and it brought a much needed release to my spirit. I was focusing on people who could never be what I hoped they would, and no matter how much I prayed for it, they would never know me as I truly am. It would not happen in this life and accepting this fact helped me to focus on the other blessings in my life that the Lord has given me. It was liberating! When Jesus was on the earth, He struggled with family issues just like us. In John 7:1-5, we see the dynamics of the Lord's family on earth and how His brothers mocked Him in their unbelief of Him. "... Jesus traveled around Galilee. He wanted to stay out of Judea, where the Jewish leaders were plotting his death. But soon it was time for the Jewish Festival of Shelters, and Jesus’ brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea, where your followers can see your miracles! You can’t become famous if you hide like this! If you can do such wonderful things, show yourself to the world!” For even his brothers didn’t believe in him." (NLT) Think about it: The very ones the Lord grew up with and cared so much for held contemptuous thoughts about His ministry. Indeed, it was because of their relationship with Jesus that they had such a difficult time believing in Him, and their familiarity with Jesus produced contempt. At another time in Scripture, we see how Jesus reacted to His family's false assumptions. One day, Jesus had entered a house, and the crowds began to gather again. Soon, he and his disciples could not even find time to eat, because the powerful manifestation of the Spirit they were experiencing was so great. When his family heard what was happening, they tried to take him away. "He’s out of his mind," they said. (Mark 3:20-21) Even Jesus, or, perhaps, especially Jesus, did not find the acceptance from His family He desired. And as you can imagine, it is difficult to have a relationship with people who think you're insane. I think it's safe to say, the Lord's family did NOT understand Him. Their mistaken view actually led them to become contrary to His life's mission on earth. In the midst of all the miracles and joy He brought to humanity, it was His family who actually tried to stop Him from doing the Father's will. Jesus had a choice to make. Would he deny the ministry of His heavenly Father to submit to His earthly family or deny His earthly family and continue preforming the will of His Father in heaven? This was His response: When Jesus' family came to see Him and sent word to Him to stop what He's doing and come outside and talk to them, He replied. “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” Then he looked at those around him and said, “Look, these are my mother and brothers. Anyone who does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”Mark 3:31-35 NLT Jesus made a family out of the people around Him. He looked at the situation through an eternal view of mankind. He saw that although His family had an intimate connection to Him and, although He surely must have felt a duty to them, He saw that all mankind was His family and He had an even greater duty to them. Indeed, though at this time, His family did not accept His mission, or understand Him, He knew He wasn't alone, because He was one with His heavenly Father. His family was the Father's family, so He would never be alone. So, if you feel alone or maybe you are truly alone, you are NOT alone. The entire kingdom of God is with you. Jesus showed us who our true family is! I want you to close your eyes and think about the kingdom of God accepting you, loving you and appreciating your life in heaven and on earth. This is the will of the Father for you. You are never alone, but are truly accepted and beloved of not only your heavenly Father, but by His very large family. This is kingdom thinking and, as you have accepted Christ's sacrifice for yourself, it is your new eternal reality. In Colossians 3:1-3, we are encouraged to believe and consider the reality of our eternal reality. "Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory." Friend, if you are alone this season, or if you feel alone, remember that you have a sister, me, who considers you family. I may not know you, but the Holy Spirit in me does and He tells me to encourage you to remember that you, like Jesus, are NOT alone. You are NOT misunderstood. You are NOT rejected. Your eternal family loves you! Our TRUE reality is HEAVEN and not the fleeting relationships of this earth. God can make a family for you out of anybody, so realize you are rich in family, rich in love and rich in the acceptance and celebration of your adopted family. You are wanted and you are loved. If you, like us, have worked hard to create a special, meaningful Christmas for your family or others, and have been met with sleeplessness, sickness, increased frustration or a flurry of the unexpected, there is at least one reason why. How OLD is Christmas? Christmas, as we know it, is quite young. Around 200 years old. Not even a drop in the bucket compared to millennium of history! From ancient times, the winter solstice, which occurs on the shortest day of the year, was marked with worship to the sun, and all that goes with that. It's December 21 for the northern hemisphere. Time, like land, carries positive or negative charge based on the sin or obedience of the people. Our Father commanded His people to add to the blessing He initiated in time by "keeping the Sabbath holy." After some thousand years of investing in the winter solstice, there's a strong turbulence embedded in the time of December. Thankfully, the Father is always moving us back to His purposes. German believers led the way, back to Christ, for nations to follow in redeeming the time of Christmas. For them, Christmas grew to a quiet, reverent family worship celebration of the Christ child with special emphasis on the children. Queen Victoria of England married Prince Albert of Germany in 1840 and brought the German-style, family Christmas celebration to Windsor Castle. Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol with its crystal clear distinction between what is of true value in life--and Clement Clarke Moore's poem, now known as "'Twas The Night Before Christmas," sparked the holiday in the United States. What Can I Bring Him? Celebrating Christ at this time of year is coming in the opposite spirit of the imprint in this time. Any time we choose to swim upstream, it takes more effort. However, when you do celebrate Christ at Christmas, you are doing something very significant for Him. If you have experienced sleeplessness, sickness, or the like, your spirit sensed the back story, and current turbulence in the spiritual atmosphere, in this time. It's a call to stillness and prayer--which is, again, against the flow in this busy season. For all the families who are broken but trying. . . For all the families who are grieving loved ones called Home. . . For all those feeling more alone being met with the commercial view of the "perfect family motif". . . For all those swimming upstream to honor Christ at this time. . . We can understand the history which gives understanding to our present, and move now in the direction the Lord wants this season to go and pray now! Prayer Response: "Father, thank You so much for sending Your Son, as the greatest gift of all. Father, You are the one who created time, and built in blessing to specific times such as Sabbath and all the seasonal feast cycles. We are so grateful for Germany's leadership in redeeming the time in December for Your honor and for the honor of families and children. We are asking You for greater grace in this time of the Christmas season for the broken, for families, for children, for the lonely, for the grieving and all the rest of those who are hurting, and we ourselves as well. Shield us all. Cause the intercessors, each of us, to recognize and to respond to the prayer signals You send. In this time, come in special, unexpected, miraculous ways to men, women and children with Your holy angels and cause them to hear the sound of comfort and joy, good tidings of great joy, and peace in their spirits in such a way that their souls and bodies are changed in Your presence. Expand the resources and reach of all those who are purposefully investing in this time, seizing the opportune moment, to give. Bless and anoint their gifts given in Your Name. Expand this time of Your favor, as so many set their hearts toward You in ways they may not the rest of the year. Do more than we can ask, think or imagine to bring the greatest return on Your investment--reconciliation with You, themselves, and others. We ask and thank You in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen." Thank you for SHARING our messages with women who need to hear the WORD. Bless you! Merry Christmas to you! I Believe in Father Christmas Cassandra Boyson December 23, 2016 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. James 1:17 I was watching Miracle on 34th Street for the first time when I came upon a revelation. In the film, Kris Kringle fights to prove that he is who he claims. Meanwhile, people from all over the world rally around him wearing pins and hanging posters that proclaim, "I Believe!" In the final courtroom act, the argument is made that, like God, one cannot disprove the existence of Santa Claus. I thought that was a moving point and I loved that the existence of my Daddy God was used to make it, but I did not think much of it beyond that until I came to the final scene. In it, a little girl who has been struggling with her belief in Santa Claus finds that he has miraculously given her everything she asked him for. "This is [what] I asked Kris for and he GOT IT for me!" she cries ecstatically. She then adds, "I guess there's no doubt about it... He's real!" Father Christmas is REAL, My Friends Father Christ-mas is REAL. Christmas means "more of Christ" or the "mass of Christ," and, truly, the Father of the Christ child wants us to come together to have more focused enjoyment of the gift of His Son. Indeed, He is the Father Who, in His tender kindness, LOVES to present His dear children all around the world with the things they've asked for. At Christmas, He presents us with gifts of joy, peace and love as well as the very desires of our hearts. Yet, it is not only once a year that He visits us with these blessings, but all the year round On December 25th, we not only celebrate the birth of the Father's Son, but we receive blessings from the Father of Christmas Himself. And while He may not necessarily fly around the world upon his reindeer driven sleigh, He does visit the homes of all His dear children to fill them with His warmth and light and to gaze upon and dwell among the joyful scenes of the ones He loves so dearly The Father loves Christmas. He delights in seeing us give generously and cheerfully wish one another a merry holiday season. When He sees the joy upon the faces of His children as they take part in Christmas celebrations, He sees His good will for the earth coming to pass. Moreover, He entreats us to ask Him for the things we long for that He may bless us in the giving, for that is among His favorite things to do. One of the most delightful sounds to reach His ears is one of His own crying, “I asked Him for this and He GOT IT for me!” If you, then, though you are [imperfect], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Matthew 7:11 Therefore, I pose this question to you: Do you believe in Father Christmas? Will you invite Him to enter into your home this year? Perhaps, we might even entreat Him to remain beyond the delivering of blessings, that He may be present all through the holiday, into the new year and remain the most glorious part of the family thereafter. Enjoy your holiday and may you be filled with the Spirit of Christmas! When My Vow Became A God Jo Ellen Stevens December 22, 2016 "If a man vows a vow to the Lord or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break and profane his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.” Numbers 30:2 (AMP) Many Have Made Vows While In Pain The Lord spoke to me the other day out of the blue and began to show me something about many of you. He began by reminding me of my story.. When I was very, very young I was married to a man that was abusive both verbally and physically. I don’t tell you this story to gain your sympathy or to make excuses for my life but to see you set free of something that you may not even realize has controlled your life for many years… While I was married to this man back in 1969 I became pregnant with the only child that I ever had and is now with the Lord.. Because of some of the abuse I believe I lost this child. When I began to miscarry he took me to the Airforce hospital in Michigan that we were stationed at and there he left me in this cold room with no one to be with me.. I remember there being another person in the room in another bed . I was in full labor because I was about five months along. I remember at one point a nurse coming in and saying to me that I needed to be quiet so as to not disturb anyone else.. So as silently as I could in that much pain I finished having this miscarriage. The next morning I woke up to go to the restroom and passed out..The next thing I knew I was back in bed and they told me that I had, had a DNC. I didn’t even know what that was I was just 16 years old and didn’t know much about life… When I came out and went home my husband began to tell me how fat I was, so I ate nothing but beef broth until I was down to my size three clothes again. I found out from someone that my husband had been at a party all the while that I was in the hospital with another woman. The next week we went to a place with some friends and I was in the back seat and started crying as I was telling the other lady in our car about my miscarriage and my then husband stopped the car abruptly and turned around and began slapping me over and over.. I told you all of this to show you where I was going with this.. Many years later after I had been divorced and had gotten married to my husband now of 25 years. I was in my basement ironing and I was asking the Lord what caused my perfectionism that had driven me and everyone else nearly crazy for many years..He showed me that at that moment that the incident happened that I had vowed a vow in my heart that I would never let another man do that to me again..That I would always be the prettiest and the skinniest, the best house keeper etc…. He said that I needed to disavow that which I had vowed.. I cried all day but God set me free.. Now just the other day the Lord spoke to me again and said this…. He said that when you vow a vow that was not of him that the vow begins to inwardly govern your life and it becomes a God to you instead of Him.. He said many of His people while in tough situations in their lives, have become perfectionists, and many other things because they vowed a vow that was not of Him.”They have blocked out my will for their life because it had become a constitution to them”… He said that He wanted me to bring this out so that any of you can ask the Holy Spirit to shine His light on these areas and you can be set free to be obedient to Him again… So ask the Lord right now to shine His light in any area that you have made your own constitution. He is ready to set you free…. It is not an easy thing to do .It will tear you up inside but it is a good tearing.. You will feel so free when this happens!! Many of you will be healed in your body right now as you allow this to happen…. Glory to our Deliverer!!! Father, we ask you to shine your light on those places in us that we have not yielded over to you because of ungodly vows in our time of pain.. We ask you to cleanse us of that and let your Holy Spirit teach us how to walk in freedom and obedience to your will In Jesus Mighty Name!! Amen!! Your Light is a Spotlight, Not a Tiny Flame Katie Barker December 21, 2016 Taking Territory The Lord gave me a vision of people who were stepping out in obedience to the prompting of the Holy Spirit into the assignments the Lord had for them. As they stepped out I saw the light within them burst into their surrounding like a spotlight. Their light was so powerful and bright. It was like an explosion of light into their area. The light could be seen for a vast distance. I saw that they were surprised by how impacting their light was in their region. They had expected to see their light as bright as a small candle flame but it was like a stadium spotlight, powerful and far reaching. The Lord was showing me that as people understood their position and identity as children of God they were stepping out in authority. As they stepped out in faith and obedience God was meeting them at their point of action and was supplying them and equipping them with all they needed. As they stepped out truly knowing their identity and walking in that identity, they were taking enemy territory, impacting the lives of others and advancing the Kingdom of God. They lived to give glory to the Lord and they were a vessel for Him. Many people were drawn to their light. They impacted others with the love of Jesus, the power of the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit. The presence of God shone through them with power. The more they stepped out, the more their area of influence and impact was expanding. The Lord also showed me that these people were igniting the light in others which was causing a cascade of light to sweep across regions. This was occurring as others understood their identity in Christ and stepped out in obedience to the Holy Spirit. They were operating in the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of the name of Jesus and they lived to give glory to Him. Our True Identity Our true identity comes from our position as children of God. As children of God we inherit everything that Jesus has as we are co-heirs with Him. The idea of spiritual adoption is presented in John 1:12 (TPT): "But those who embraced him and took hold of his name were given authority to become the children of God." Galatians 4:6-7 (TPT): "So that we would know for sure that we are His true children, God released the Spirit of Sonship into our hearts – moving us to cry out immediately, 'My Father! You're our true Father' Now we're no longer living like slaves under the law, but we enjoy being God's very own sons and daughters! And because we're His, we can access everything our Father has – for we are one with Jesus the Anointed One!" The Lord wants us to become mature children, and grow in our walk with Him. In Romans 8:14-15 (TPT) we read: "The mature children of God are only those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the 'spirit of religious duty' leading you back into fear of never being good enough. But you have received the 'Spirit of Full Acceptance', enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as He rises up within us, our spirits join Him in saying the words of tender affection, 'Beloved Father!'" The Lord wants us to live and breathe what it means to be a child of God. As we abide in Him and yield to Him, we continue to be transformed into the image of Jesus and are witnesses unto Him. If we fully embrace the Scripture in Galatians 2:20 that Christ lives in us, this transforms our thinking as we realize that if Christ lives in us, we are to display Christ to others. When others encounter us they should see Christ. We are to display the fruit of the Spirit and we are to walk in authority (John 14:12-14 says we will do even greater works than Christ did). We are seated in heavenly places with Christ (Ephesians 2:6). Our seating and reigning with Christ is a position of authority and triumph. The more we understand our identity, the more we will impact our world. More than ever, now is the time to awaken to our position as co-heirs with Christ and to understand our true identity and authority as children of God. Authority and Power We have been commissioned to impact our world in the name of Jesus for His glory. This is possible as we understand our Kingdom authority and position and walk in that. The Lord is using everyday people who have surrendered all to Him and who are humble, passionate in their love for Him and obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He is adorning them with power from on high and they are impacting their area of influence and bringing glory to His name. The Lord has given us authority to operate in His name. In Matthew 28:18-19 (TPT) we read, "Jesus came close to them and said, 'All the authority of the universe has been given to Me. Now go in My authority and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.'" Jesus also says in Mark 16:17, "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." Jesus baptizes with Holy Spirit and with fire (Luke 3:16). The Word of God tells us that the Kingdom realm of God comes with power (1 Corinthians 4:20). Scripture gives us many examples of miracles that were done in the name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 3:6 (TPT) we read about Peter healing a crippled man. Then Peter said, "I don't have money, but I'll give you this – by the power of the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, stand up and walk!" In Acts 6:8 (TPT) we read, "Stephen, who was a man full of grace and supernatural power, performed many astonishing signs and wonders and mighty miracles among the people." In Luke 10:17 (TPT) we read, "When the seventy missionaries returned to Jesus, they were ecstatic with joy telling Him, 'Lord even the demons obeyed us when we commanded them in Your name!" We too are to win others to Christ and to move in signs and wonders to display the power of God. We, as children of the Lord, (children of light – Ephesians 5:8) are to be a light to the world and dispel the darkness. We are able to expose and come against the lies of the enemy and the forces of darkness as we have been given authority in Christ. We need to align ourselves with Christ and not agree with the lies of the enemy that we are discounted, not qualified, or have nothing to offer. The same Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead lives in us (Romans 8:11). We can all be used by the Lord if we are willing. As we allow Christ within us to shine and use the gifts we have been given in Christ, we affect those around us. As we step into the plans and purposes God has for us, our light affects regions. In Isaiah 42:6 we are described as being "a light for the nations." The more we become a channel and allow Christ to flow through us, the more we will see the power of Christ working in and through us and therefore the more impact we will have in this world. Step Out We need to step out in faith on the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Lord will equip us and provide all we need for the assignment He has for us. The Lord wants us to partner with Him in bringing to pass His plans and purposes. As we understand our identity and authority in Christ, we will step out and see our light is a powerful spotlight. We will ignite the light in others causing a cascade effect where our whole region will be lit up for God!
