"Keep Your Eyes Focused on Me!"

While in deep worship last night and praying for many that are experiencing circumstances that are speaking the opposite of what God has promised, I asked Him how He wants us to react against the attacks that seem to be keeping so many from breakthrough.
This is what our Father said, “I want to take you from his place, but it’s almost as if you have unknowingly dug your heels in. You are having trouble looking ahead and seeing what is on the horizon because you are focused on where you feet currently stand. Focusing on where you are allows time to pass and the muck and mire to catch you up in it. Much like Peter stepping out of the boat, you can not focus on your fear of what might happen or you will sink.”
“Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out. But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here! ” Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” Matthew 14:25-31 NLT
“Keep your eyes focused on Me, look forward to what you are walking into with Me. There are blessings ahead. Promises you have believed deep within your heart. If they are promises from Me, they are like gold treasure waiting to be discovered when the timing is right.
I will draw you out of this place, but you must first take your eyes from your feet beneath you. I know this is a difficult task for you to do, but I promise I will not leave you, nor forsake you. My yolk is easy to bear and my burden is light.”
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NLT
“I will carry you as you rest in Me. I will lift you from this place where you have become stuck. When you have rested long enough, you will not find yourself in My arms being carried, but on my shoulder, in VICTORY! A victory promised. I will give you nothing less that what you have asked for, because I love you and care for you. There has not been one day that I have not been with you and there is not one where I will leave you. Put your trust in Me, allow Me to carry you.”
As I finished my worship, I glanced at the screen of the device playing that had continued to play music. On the screen was a picture of arms wrapped around a Father’s neck as He carried them. What confirmation of His great word at this time!
Although this transition period is difficult, we must continue to be strong in faith. Our Savior will continue to align things in His time, just in time. There will be no more lack of love, joy or provision. He seeks only to please us, as we have Him. Have hope as you continue to step out in faith, looking forward to His great reward.
“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 NLT
